Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

Astrel is intended for Intermediate / Class 11–12 students and the colleges that teach them. If you are a minor (under 18), you may use Astrel only with the consent and involvement of a parent, lawful guardian, or your college, who agrees to these terms on your behalf. By using Astrel you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are permitted to use the service.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your login credentials and for activity under your account. Keep your password confidential and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. One account is for one person; don’t share accounts or impersonate others.

3. Licence to use Astrel

Subject to these terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the Astrel app and portals for your own learning (or, for institutions, for teaching your enrolled students). You may not copy, resell, sublicense, reverse-engineer, or commercially exploit the service or its content except as expressly allowed.

4. Subscriptions & payments

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

6. AI tutor & content accuracy

Astrel includes an AI tutor and automatically generated explanations, audio, and practice variants. AI can be wrong or incomplete. Astrel is a study aid, not a substitute for your own judgement, your teachers, or official exam materials. Always verify important information (for example, exam-critical facts) against authoritative sources. We are not responsible for exam outcomes or decisions you make based on AI-generated content.

7. Intellectual property

The Astrel name, logo, software, design, and its lessons and question bank are owned by Astrel Education or its licensors and are protected by law. Content you submit (such as questions you ask the tutor) remains yours; you grant us a licence to process it as needed to provide and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. College & institution use

If you use Astrel as part of a college or institution, additional terms agreed with that institution may apply, and the institution is responsible for managing its students’ access and for its own use of student data within its portal. Institution administrators must only grant access to, and view data of, students they are authorised to manage.

9. Suspension & termination

You may stop using Astrel and delete your account at any time (see our account deletion page). We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if required for security or legal reasons, or if we discontinue a feature or the service. We’ll give reasonable notice where practical.

10. Disclaimers

Astrel is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties (including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation). We do not guarantee any particular exam result or score.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Suvarnidhi Tehnologies Private Limited will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes we’ll update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use Astrel after an update means you accept the revised terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at our registered place of business in India will have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
